Last a Sunday marked the beginning of the Advent season.  Advent is the special time of year when we start to prepare for Christmas.

On Monday morning, Fr Sheehan came to bless our school Advent wreath and to light the first candle.  The first candle is a purple candle which symbolises hope.  God gives us hope always but most especially at Christmas time – a season of great hope and expectation.
