Competition Time!

We have two OPTIONAL competitions for you to enter this week.  Prizes will be awarded for the most inventive and interesting entries!

  1. LEGO Challenge

We are wondering who can build:lego

  •  the most impressive rocket ship
  •  the tallest tower
  •  best dream house, or
  •  the most exciting roller coaster

Entry is open to everyone in Rathpeacon NS.  Please send a photograph of your entry to rathpeaconweb@gmail.com.  Remember to include the following details with your e-mail:

  1. Name
  2. Age
  3. Class
  4. Category

Family entries are allowed.  All entries must be in by Wednesday 1st April 2020

2. Story Writing Competition

You can choose to write about any of the following:writing

First & Second Class Options:

  • A pet with magical powers
  • A kid becomes principal of a school
  • Travelling back in time to see the dinosaurs

Third & Fourth Class Options:

  • A teacher who becomes a movie star
  • A cat that stows away on a spaceship
  • What would happen if you met your favourite celebrity

Fifth & Sixth Class Options:

  • Your family win the lottery
  • You suspect that your teacher is an alien
  • Start your story with the line…”Suddenly, I heard a noise…”
