As part of our World Book Day celebrations we had loads of book related competitions going on. Here are photos of our prize winners in the various competitions. Well done to all!
The in school search for Wally went on over the last two weeks. Wally was spotted by over 30 children. The class that spotted Wally the most overall – with 7 reported Wally sightings – was Mr Sheehan’s class. There was a tie for the individual best Wally Watcher.

Design a Potato Head Competition
The standard of potato head was phenomenal – make sure you look at the photos of individual spuds in the ‘Super Spuds’ page. Eight winners were chosen for their outstanding spuds with some superb runners up in each age group too! Well done to everyone for submitting a spud – they truly were amazing!
Classes have been taking part in a school readathon since early February. The amount of reading has really increased which is fantastic to see. Here are the children who won prizes today:
