We had another big day in the history of Rathpeacon today as classes moved out of the prefabs and into the ‘new’ new building! After an assembly this morning to welcome everyone back, the entire school moved out to the yard. Special guests from past and present Boards and some parents from the Fundraising Committee joined us for the big move.
One of the most important people in our school community, the man who keeps the whole show on the road – Noel Buckley, cut the ribbon to open our new building for business. Noel has seen a lot of changes down through the years from the moment he started in Junior Infants in Rathpeacon aged 4!
Our buildings and staff might have changed, our pupils may grow up but everyone would have to agree with Noel when he said that “Rathpeacon is the best!”
