The staff have gone home very happy this evening after claiming their third victory in the annual Staff v. Sixth Basketball Championship!  Both team captains – Mr Duggan and Billy inspired strong performances from their teams but on the day, the staff proved to be too strong an opposition.

Sixth Class took an early lead in the match much to the delight of their manager – Erin.  However, the delight was to be short lived as Ms O’Mahony soon levelled the game with a great two-pointer.  From then on, the match was neck and neck with some great scores from both teams.

With only minutes to spare, the staff team managed to get  a 14-12 lead which they held right to the final whistle.
