Our boys and girls teams both played their semi-final matches today in the Sciath na Scol.

Both teams played fantastically well and it was really great to see such a big turn out for after school training sessions since we came back to school in September!  The hard work at training paid off as both teams won their first three matches – a fantastic achievement in itself!

Unfortunately today, the results were not in the boy’s favour.  Though they tried valiantly, the boys lost their semi-final.  We would really like to commend their efforts.

The girls, on the other hand, won their semi-final and will now go on to contest the final of the Sciath na Scol later this month – an occasion we can all look forward to!  Well done girls!  Brilliant result today!

A quick word of thanks to the teachers – Ms Watson, Ms Twomey, Ms Ryan, Ms O’Mahony, Mr O’Donoghue and Mr Sheehan who trained the teams after school and brought them to all of the matches!

It was a fantastic season and – best of all – it’s not over yet!
