Lighting the Tree

There was definitely a sprinkling of Christmas magic in the air on Sunday evening as the community gathered to watch the lighting of the Christmas tree!

Local hero – Mr Noel Buckley – did the honours and switched on the lights.  The school choir – led by Ms C. O’Neill and Ms D. O’Neill – entertained the crowd with a medley of gorgeous Christmas songs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the occasion!

The festive season in Rathpeacon couldn’t have asked for a better start!
