Advent has begun and so have our Christmas preparations!
Fifth and Sixth Classes have already started to decorate their classrooms with these fantastic winter themed Art projects.
Senior Infants put the finishing touches on their Bank of Ireland Art Competition entries. The final works of art from each class will be on display in the Bank of Ireland towards the end of next week.
Here are a few more Art competition entries from Third and Fourth Class. Make sure you call into the bank to see all 300+ entries!
Sixth Class spent this morning (Wednesday) making Advent wreaths for each classroom in the school. They also made wreaths for the office and reception area. These Advent wreaths are a beautiful addition to the decorations which are starting to appear around the school.
Sixth Class took the job very seriously….but that didn’t stop them having some fun!
On Friday, Junior Infants painted and decorated these Christmas Trees – aren’t they beautiful?
Junior Infants also had to swap our ‘builders’ hats for something a bit more seasonal…
