Our school swimming team had a fantastic day on Thursday.  Ms. O’Brien, Mr. Sheehan and Ms. Quigley were the teachers who travelled with the team to the competitions.  There was great support among the team members and from lots of parents who came to the pool.

The under 8/9 and under 10/11 swimmers won their overall sections. The relay teams won all of their sections too.  By the end of the day when all points were added up, we had enough points to win the overall plate competition.

Renée McGrath was our ‘superstar.’  She swam an amazing race and finished in first place which added to the excitement of the day.  By Thursday evening, we came back to school laden down with numerous medals and four trophies!
