The hall was jam-packed today for an end of year showcase of the gymnastics skills which the children have developed this year.  Representatives were chosen from every class – Junior Infants to Sixth – and what a show they put on!!!

Alli and William introduced the display.  The Infants showed us the wheelbarrow and some basic tumbling.

First and Second Class showed off some more advanced tumbles, front hand springs, back hand springs and some pyramids.  They were followed by Third and Fourth Class children who stepped it up another level with their front and back hand springs – needing less and less assistance from Alli.

Fifth and Sixth Class finished the show with a fantastic display of gymnastic skill!

Well done to everyone for another great year in Gymnastics!  A huge ‘thank you’ to Alli for all of his coaching throughout the year and thanks too to William who helped Alli to put today’s showcase together.
