Over the past few months, twenty children from Fifth and Sixth Class along with Ms. O’Neill and Mrs Coleman have been taking part in the VEX Robotics Programme.  This was an exciting programme where children between the ages of 8 and 18 could learn about the STEM subjects while having fun.

The Rathpeacon team designed and built a robot – the “Rathbot 2019.”  Today they all travelled to CIT with their robot to compete in a series of challenges.  Hopefully our VEX team have been given a small insight into what a career in Engineering and Science might be like!
