On Monday 8th December, we celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We had a very important assembly of the whole school at one o’clock.  Our school is Scoil Mhuire so we remembered Holy Mary in a special way.

We said our school prayer together and sang A Mhuire Mháthair.  Some children read prayers and readings from the Bible.

Children from lots of different classes have been donating gifts to our SVP Giving Tree.  (For more information on the Giving Tree, contact Mrs O’Brien)

Mr Duggan’s class got into the Christmas spirit.  They made these personalised Christmas stockings to decorate their classroom and put up their class Christmas tree.  Lucy and Fiadh (the youngest and oldest in the class) got to put the star on top.
